    Inspired by Ikebana, the traditional Japanese art of floral arrangement, this series embodies the essence of this art form. Asymmetry, stillness, and balance.That idea sat at the core of the series from the very beginning, like light that falls unevenly across a wall. The goal wasn’t perfection—it was presence.

    Ikebana, comprising Midori, Harubana, and Konoha, became the first designs under The White Teak Company by Asian Paint’s Design Atelier.

    When we began working on the Ikebana series, the intention wasn’t to make something loud or ornamental. We were chasing stillness.Something that felt quiet, deliberate, and rooted in emotion.
